Thressa purchases microphone...
...oh no, she will never never shut up!
I was checking out the software on pronunciation...I am so delighted I just had to blog a little...does the mocking bird really "mock", does s/he mimic? I don't know. In Ojibwe the animals names make the sounds of what they really do...today I am wondering if I am part mocking bird because I can definitely mimic the woman speaker...what an awesome tool...I am finding the voice tool to be EXTREMELY REWARDING...from my ears to my fingers?...consistently inaccurate, from my ears out my mouth...accurate.
And the new lists....I wish I had a lot more time, a lot. The way you did that Brian M.! Wow! The implications are also so awesome...thinking about groups of words and how easily and seamless the ability to share....how easy it was for me to just add your whole new set of (great) words...thinking about Ojibwemowin Learning Communities...
Even though my life is a mess and I am stressed out to the maX... nimiigwiichimendam! Seeing and using what is here for me to learn the language is actually making the possibility of my dream coming true, real to me....nimiigwiichimendam minnewa! ...fluency threshold...8-10 years...I can do that! Inspired by my own voice, and technology...nigiizhiibaabidaygin (I spin around)...blessings of kindness and love to each of you.

Giigidochigan (microphone).
ReplyDeleteI am so happy you are able to use the audio function - your small investment will pay off in the most wonderful way :). Please note any time you hit the top 75% (or green) you are doing excellent :) It is hard to get much above that sometimes unless you are the speaker.
