Henry Flocken (UMD Grad, Ojibwemowin Teacher) sent me this email, he helps a lot at the Wednesday Language Table...he had another idea to try. He suggests we wear a red cloth arm band around our right arms during tradish gatherings, or pow wows...a language safe sign to other practitioners and speakers...I thought that was a very good idea too...

Go to community/group "ojibwemodaa".
We will post audio and video recordings from our language tables at rezkast.com You can download the files from the community room or from the individual who posted it. I am not sure which one works yet. Make sure to put "ojibwemodaa" at the beginning of your file name title before you post it, such as "ojibwemodaa - Eating. " This way others can find your post by searching ojibwemodaa. Make sure your file is converted to mp3 or mp4 before you post it. Anyone can then download the mp3 files, burn cds, and store on their computers.
Ideally other language tables would contribute or anyone else interested. People keep their digital recorders with them all the times to record speakers when ever they get a chance, or even record speakers at language table. This way we can have an army of recorders sharing with an army of learners.
Miigwech Henry!

Tree, what a wonderful idea this is. Kind a part of our Army for Anishinaabemowin uniform.
